Over the past few years, the Fundació Sorigué has built the most prominent collection of William Kentridge’s work in Europe. This collection reflects the most significant themes of his work and includes examples from his most iconic series.
The main theme of the exhibition is Kentridge’s creative process. He is renowned for his unique approach to blending different forms of expression, such as drawing, hand-drawn animation, film, music, dance, and set design.
Through his creations, Kentridge explores the complex history of South Africa and, more broadly, the nature of human emotions and memory.
