“Deep Beauty” is a photography exhibition curated by Denis Curti, conceived by Ogilvy Italia’s creative team under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Mastromatteo, and supported by KIKO Milano. It’s held in collaboration with MUDEC, the City of Milan, and 24 ORE Cultura, with special graphic contributions by artist Paolo Ventura.
The show features over 60 masterpieces by renowned artists such as Marina Abramović, David Hockney, Michel Comte, David LaChapelle, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Helmut Newton, and Robert Mapplethorpe. It explores the evolution of beauty through visual arts—from photography and video art to the use of AI.
Organized into six thematic sections—Transfigurations, Enchantments, Vertigos, Labyrinths, New Worlds, and Artifices—the exhibition reflects on the changing meanings of beauty from the early 20th century to today.
Thanks to contributions from key collectors, the project fosters a dialogue between aesthetics and the city’s social and economic fabric.
A virtual immersive version of the exhibit, developed with AQuest, will also be available online, offering an interactive experience with additional content via QR codes.
