Starting Thursday, Nov. 10 at 8:40 p.m., the third season of THE SQUARE will air every two weeks on Sky Arte. SPACE TO CULTURE, the program created by TIWI and hosted by Nicolas Ballario that chronicles contemporary culture in all its forms. Through the voices of many guests, special reports on exhibitions and museums from all over Italy, animations that delve into current issues in contemporary culture, and a rich agenda of appointments, THE SQUARE is a tool to stay up-to-date on the artistic scene in our country. Episodes can also be streamed on NOW and on demand.
The fourth episode of the third season of The Square, airing Thursday, Dec. 22, opens with an account of two exhibitions mounted at XNL Piacenza: Like a Moon Lemon and On the Dress She Has a Body. Notes on Sonia Delaunay. Artists Francesco Simeti, Meris Angioletti and Ulla von Brandenburg tell us about these two exhibitions with XNL artistic director Paola Nicolin.
In the studio Nicolas welcomes the first guest of the episode, artist and artistic director of the Quadriennale di Roma, Gian Maria Tosatti, thanks to whom we learn about the themes and goals of contemporary artistic research.
