Gian Maria Tosatti opens at The Drawing Hall a solo exhibition curated by Andrea Mastrovito, entitled Alcuni Appunti. Disegni 2005-2021 starting June 10 through July 9, 2022.
For the first time Tosatti is exhibiting to the public a series of drawings he has made over the years: the exhibition delves into his intimate and unexpected relationship with the practice of drawing that underlies the design of his artistic production.
Alcuni Appunti. Disegni 2005-2021 underscores how for Gian Maria Tosatti the drawing, which usually does not represent a completed work in his research, is a first, fundamental planning step preparatory to an installation work, a true project drawing.
