On Friday, October 11, Alfredo Jaar’s work “Tho or three things I know about Monsters” (2016-2019), placed on the facade of the Lancia-Chiribiri parking lot in Turin, Italy, opened.
Alfredo Jaar’s light work is a red neon sign with a historic quote from Antonio Gramsci, “The old world is dying. The new one is slow to appear. And in this chiaroscuro monsters are born.”
The event is part of the TUTTOLIBERO project by Fondazione Merz and MAUTO – Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile, for the City of Turin, with the support of GTT and IREN.
